Eco Tourism

Bulwer is fast becoming beloved as a very affordable  eco  tourist destination ,with  many peaceful activities and  sports for all levels of fitness that can take place harmoniously  in a nature conservancy. So if you are visiting Marutswa Forest to enjoy it's tranquil beauty why not step out into Beautiful Bulwer  and experience the wonders of nature in other exciting and interesting  ways.

Flying

Bulwer is well known internationally as one of South
Africa's top paragliding and Hang gliding sites.
Anyone seeking a burst of adrenaline, vicarious or
otherwise, would be sorry not to drive the road up to
the top of the mountain, where you can watch the
pilots readying for takeoff.

Or for the more adventurous still, take a tandem
flight and maybe encounter some Cape Vultures,
Lammergeyer's and Black and Crested Eagles in
the air. If you like what you see you can arrange a
training course in either Hang gliding or Paragliding
from one the experienced Bulwer licensed instructors.
