This helps reduce the strain on the water table and also discourages the spread of alien invaders. The selection is seasonal and includes amongst other plants:
A variety of tree saplings, red hot pokers, Agapanthus, succulents and wild iris.
Plants purchased at the forest also help support the eco –education programme at Marutswa and contribute to the upkeep of this community upliftment
project.

Why not stop by the nursery and take home a living souvenir of your wonderful day out at Marutswa Forest.
