Bird Monitoring Workshop - SABAP2 and CWAC
16th - 17 October 2010
Join Hanneline Smith (BirdLife South Africa Conservation Manager) and Ernst Retief (BirdLife South Africa Regional Conservation Manager: Gauteng and North West) on bird monitoring programmes that as a citizen scientist you can contribute to.
Programme:
Saturday 16th October – 08h30
Introduction to SABAP2 - protocol and software demonstration. (Bring your laptop if you would like the software) Please note you do not need to have a computer to participate in SABAP2.
Sunday 17th October
Introduction and protocol of CWAC
Practical Atlassing in the Wakkerstroom Centre pentad
Please contact Kristi on 0832270128 or wakkerstroom-centre@birdlife.org.za before the 8th October to make your booking.
Lunch will be provided on Saturday the 16th October at a cost of R30 per person.
Space is limited to 40 persons.
